This is a man to this day has swag to give away because he has accumulated so much over the years. From 1984-1986 Willem Dafoe drop three gems that blew me away as a kid..Streets of Fire...To Live and Die in LA(I remember seeing this as a doubleheader with La Bamba)...Platoon. It was a new definition of tuff muthafucka for me...up until this point all I new was Sylvester and Arnold...if you don't know...now you do...put it on the queue...
Its rare that the sample that inspired the classic gives you the same feeling when listening to it...my face always gets all twisted up when I here that Commodores track drop..the horn is crazy...Buddy will always be a classic in my house and I look forward to the day I can pass this tunes to my young ones......mmmmmmhmmmmm yeah!
On a recent rainy November day I went out to BK to pay my friend Brendan a visit. I first met Bren back in the late 90's when he was rooming with my boy Philly Pete the Jew. This portrait session has been long over due. I appreciate the time and talk b. Asshole recognize asshole...best quote of the day...
For this project I ended up behind the camera. With the help of my ace Jake Davis, he was able to give me a quick tutorial on how to use the video camera. With my expertise in perversion I was able to knock it out. Jake chopped and screwed it in the lab. Can easily say was not one of the hardest days on the job...Thank you Terry, Seth, Swanson, Leslie, Rosa and Jake....
One of the few latin actors I remember from my youth actually playing leading roles in Hollywood movies. Dig back and check Kiss of The Spider Woman, Tempest, Romero and Moon Over Parador(not one of his best movies but a guilty pleasure and Sonia Braga gave me childhood boners)....
Another dope head I was able to meet while in Madrid was Luis aka 3ttman. It was great to get a look inside his work space and just kick it. I will be the first to admit I am not the biggest fan of street art but this dude is nice with his and puts in work. Good looks and thank you for the wine and hash...
It's too easy not want to embrace this kit. The Yankee's won another one, its about to snow soon...need to re-up on your beef and broc's...M-65 will never get played...and the new Champion crew neck is craze! If I catch you looking like this from head to toe just fork over 5 rocks and we can call it even...
Interview- Andre Torres Video- Jake Davis Snaps- Kai Regan Jake and I drove out to the Wu compound in New Jerusalem to shoot and tape an interview. Geeked out when we met The Rza. Had an ipod battle on the drive out. Good day...good times...another one in the books...
Ahhhhh dealing with teenage girl drama...far from dating one now but it seems the same story line never tires. Three songs as a youth that helped me work it out and gave me style lessons...3 x Dope(money woes)...Main Source (so good when you dump a girl in the 8th grade)...and KMD (facial hair don't make the next man better than me!)....
